Anfernee Simons scored 20 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and Jabari Walker added 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in overtime 107-100 Saturday night at FedExForum in Memphis.
Dalano Banton scored eight of his 10 points in overtime and Duop Reath added 12 points and six rebounds.
Portland (17-42) trailed 78-61 entering the fourth quarter but outscored the Grizzlies 34-17 to force overtime.
With the Trail Blazers trailing 95-91 in the final minute, Walker provided the offense to push the game into overtime. Walker scored on an Ashton Hagans miss to cut the deficit to two at 95-93 and collected an offensive rebound on another Hagans miss and got fouled. He connected on both free throws to tie the game.
In overtime Dalano Banton scored eight of the Blazers final 10 points to ice the game for the Trail Blazers.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will finish up their three-game road trip Monday in Minnesota against the Timberwolves. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.
