Jalen Green scored a team-high 27 points and Alperen Sengun finished with 19 points and nine rebounds as the Houston Rockets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 123-107 Friday night at Moda Center.
Portland (17-45) took a 70-58 lead early in the third quarter, but Houston used a 41-18 run to take control of the game and put it away in the fourth.
Houston (28-35) outscored Portland 68-44 in the second half and scored 27 points off of 17 Trail Blazers turnovers. The Rockets held a 37-18 edge in fast break points.
Dalano Banton scored a career-high and game-high 30 points. He added eight rebounds and five assists. Anfernee Simons finished with 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back Saturday night at Moda Center against the Toronto Raptors. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
