Dalano Banton led Portland with a game-high 28 points, Scoot Henderson finished with 15 points and eight assists, and Dandre Ayton recorded another double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds on 11-of-23 shooting.
Jabari Walker continued his strong play recording a double-double with 14 points and 18 rebounds.
The Celtics opened up a 13-point lead at 78-65 at the midway point of the third, but Portland responded with a 16-7 run to cut the deficit to four at 85-81.
Boston would take a 93-85 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Celtics opened the fourth on a 19-9 run finished off with back to back threes from Sam Hauser and Xavier Tillman forcing a Blazers timeout with 4:14 remaining, Boston leading 112-94. The Trail Blazers never threatened the rest of the way.
