It was an ugly game with a snail's pace in the first half as both teams shot below 40% from the field and combined for 34 free throws. Sacramento (1-2) led 51-43 at halftime.
Portland (1-3) cut the kings lead to two-points at 60-58 in the third, but the Kings closed the quarter on a 27-11 run taking an 18-point lead into the fourth at 89-71. The Kings put the game away with a 10-2 run to open the fourth.
The Trail Blazers connected on just 42.2% of their shots including just 4-of-22 from downtown. Deandre Ayton led Portland with 20 points and 11 rebounds, it was his fourth-straight double-double. Jabari Walker added 15 points and six rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Los Angeles to meet the Clippers Wednesday night at Intuit Dome. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
