Portland (2-3) trailed 88-82 heading into the fourth quarter but used a 10-4 run finished off with a Donovan Clingan three-pointer to tie the game at 92 with 8:19 remaining.

Later in the fourth, Simons connected on a three-pointer to tie the game at 102 with 3:19 remaining.

Norman Powell scored a bucket with 1:56 remaining helping the Clippers regain the lead at 105-104, but Ayton answered with a 6-foot hook shot with 1:38 remaining giving Portland a 106-105.

Ivica Zubac missed two free throws with 1:20 remaining and a Deni Advija block on Norman Powell's layup attempt kept Portland in front with 29.1 seconds remaining.

The Clippers called timeout after Ayton missed a three-pointer with 3.1 seconds remaining. Ayton would steal the inbound pass intended for Zubac to secure the win.

Advija recorded his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Scoot Henderson finished with 14 points and 6 assists, and Clingan added seven points and six rebounds.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers return home to host the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
