Anfernee Simons led Portland with 28 points and Shaedon Sharpe added 22 points and five assists.
Miami (20-17) connected on 13-of-27 from beyond-the-arc in the first half as they build a 66-48 halftime lead.
Portland (13-25) erupted in the third with a 16-2 run to cut the deficit to just four at 68-64 with 7:34 to play in the quarter, but Miami pushed their lead back to double-digits heading into the fourth.
The Trail Blazers scored 10-straight in the fourth to cut the Heat's lead to 100-93 with 4:43 to play.
Miami responded with a 10-2 run to put the game out of reach.
Portland was outscored 25-15 in the fourth and connected on just 5-of-23 from the field.
