Knicks Outmuscle Trail Blazers

------ Jalen Brunson finished with 26 points and eight assists and OG Anunoby connected on 4-of-7 from beyond the arc as the New York Knicks ended the Trail Blazers five-game winning streak with a 123-114 victory Sunday afternoon at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Jalen Brunson finished with 26 points and eight assists and OG Anunoby scored 14 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as the New York Knicks topped the Portland Trail Blazers 123-114 Sunday afternoon in Portland.

Deni Avdija led Portland (19-21) with a team-high 25 points, Shaedon Sharpe scored 23, and Caleb Love added 21 points and four asissts.

Avdija left the game late in the fourth quarter with a back injury. His status for Tuesday was unknown after the game.

New York (25-14) led by five at halftime and by five heading into the fourth. Portland used a 17-4 run to take a 95-92 lead following a three-point play from Avdija, but the Knicks took control of the game with 11-straight points. The Blazers did not threaten for the rest of the game.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to San Francisco to meet the Warriors on Tuesday night at Chase Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 8:00 PM.
