----- Jerami Grant scored a game-high 27 points and Toumani Camara added 16 points and five rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers begin their five-game road trip with a 121-112 victory over the Chicago Bulls Thursday night at United Center in Chicago.
Without Donovan Clingan and Deni Avdija in the lineup, Jerami Grant led Portland to victory over Chicago on Thursday night.
Grant finished with a game-high 27 points, Toumani Camara added 16 points and five rebounds, and Robert Williams III recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Portland (29-31) used a 25-12 run over the final 6:34 of the first half to build a six-point halftime lead. Chicago (24-36) opened the third quarter on a 9-2 run to retake the lead, but Portland used an 18-11 run to take a 93-86 into the fourth.
The Trail Blazers opened the final quarter on a 10-4 run to push their lead to double-digits. The Blazers extended their lead to 15 but the Bulls responded with a 15-3 run to make it a three-point game with 3:37 to play.
Portland responded with five-straight points to push their lead back to eight with 1:27 to play. Holiday put the game away with a jumper with 52.1 seconds to play.
Portland played without Donovan Clingan (Illness), Shaedon Sharpe (Left Leg), and Deni Avdija (Lower Back).
