----- The Charlotte Hornets are now 14-3 in their last 17 games after Saturday's 109-93 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Brandon Miller connected on 6-of-12 from three-point range and scored a game-high 26 points and Moussa Diabate recorded a double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.
Coby White scored 20 points off the bench and LaMelo Ball finished with 15 points and eight assists.
Jrue Holiday finished with a team-high 25 points and Jerami Grant scored 21 for the Trail Blazers.
The Hornets built a 15-point lead early in the second quarter but the Trail Blazers responded with a 17-8 run and trailed by eight at halftime.
Charlotte led by seven heading into the fourth quarter and later used a 10-0 run to put the game away.
Portland (29-32) made just 40% of their field goals including 11-of-47 from three-point range. To make matters worse, Charlotte (30-31) held a 55-39 rebounding advantage and were +8 in points off turnovers.
Donovan Clingan returned after missing Thursday's game against the Bulls due to an illness. He finished with seven points and eight rebounds.
