Hawks Rout Trail Blazers

----- Onyeka Okongwu finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists as the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 135-101 Sunday afternoon at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Rough weekend for the Trail Blazers!

After getting roughed up by the Hornets in Charlotte on Saturday, it got worse for the Trail Blazers Sunday in Atlanta.

Onyeka Okongwu finished with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists and Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting as the Atlanta Hawks handed the Portland Trail Blazers a 34-point loss Sunday afternoon at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Portland (29-33) had one of their worst defensive performances Sunday. Atlanta (31-31) connected on 55% of their field goals including 15-of-40 from three-point range. The Trail Blazers added to their problems by giving up 30 points on 17 turnovers.

Atlanta used a 34-12 run in the first quarter to build a 19-point lead. Portland never mounted a threat the rest of the way.

Jrue Holiday led Portland with 23 points and Donovan Clingan added 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Memphis to meet the Grizzlies on Wednesday evening. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.

Chad's Take- The worst defensive effort I have seen from the Trail Blazers this season.
