Big Night For Scoot As Trail Blazers Hammered The Pacers

----- The Portland Trail Blazers used a 25-7 second quarter run to bury the Indiana Pacers Sunday night at Moda Center.

Scoot Henderson finished with 28 points and six assists on 10-of-15 shooting as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers 131-111 Sunday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Deni Avdija was back in the lineup after missing six-games. He finished with 18 points and eight assists in 25 minutes of action.

Jerami Grant and Jrue Holiday combined for 42 points on 13-of-20 shooting.

Portland (31-34) connected on 51% of their field goals and held a 53-38 edge in rebounding.

The game was tied at 30 at the end of the first and Indiana held a one-point lead with 5:54 to play in the first half. Following a timeout from Tiago Splitter, Portland erupted for a 25-7 run to take a 17-point lead into the locker room.

The Pacers never recovered as Portland led by at least 13 the rest of the way including 100-80 at the end of the third. Coach Splitter was able to clear his bench with just under four minutes to play in the game.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers face the Charlotte Hornets Tuesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
