Stephon Castle scored a game-high 33 points and Dylan Harper added 27 points and 10 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs took a 2-1 lead in their first round Western Conference Playoffs series with a 120-108 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Victor Wembanyama did not play on Friday night (Concussion). His status for Game 4 on Sunday is unknown. He is listed day-to-day.
Jrue Holiday led Portland with 29 points and Scoot Henderson added 21 on 5-of-10 shooting from three-point range.
The Trail Blazers took a six-point lead into the locker room after Holiday and Henderson combined for 31 points in the first half. Portland pushed their lead to 15 in the third, but the game started to change midway through the quarter.
The Spurs outscored the Trail Blazers 21-5 over the final 5:09 of the third and took a one-point lead into the fourth.
After Portland regained the lead early in the fourth, San Antonio put the game away with a 25-8 run.
San Antonio connected on 16-of-33 from three-point range and had a 22-12 edge in 2nd chance points.
