Did the Lakers Fake us out?

Mike Harmon: “I’m annoyed because the Lakers made a bunch of changes at the deadline for all the issues they had & now we’re sitting here and they’re down 3-0 to the Nuggets. The Lakers can’t say that they weren’t talented enough, they brought in a bunch of guys! To say it was a great year is not right, it’s another year where Davis, James and the franchise were healthy, they got heavy minutes and everything around them was there for them, they failed.”

Dan Beyer: “Getting past the Warriors last series maybe shows that they weren’t that good if the Lakers beat them the way they did. I never thought the Lakers were a Championship team this year, but I did think this would be a better series. With everything that goes on with AD and his health and LeBron not being in the league much longer, you can’t call this a rebuild year for the Lakers—at this moment they do not have the opportunity to rebuild.”

This morning, Mike Harmon & Dan Beyer talk about the 3-0 series lead the Denver Nuggets have on the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. They both agree that the Lakers don’t have a lot of time to get another Championship with LeBron. With him aging and AD always injured, the Lakers have no time for a rebuild.
