Former NFL running back and Hall of Famer, Eric Dickerson talked in depth about the incredible year the rookie RB, Saquon Barkley is having on the New York Giants. Colin Cowherd brought it to his attention that Barkley is on pace to break Eric Dickerson's record for scrimmage yards. Dickerson said the following:
Are you kidding me, Colin? No, I don't want my record broken. Anyone who has a record, they don't want their record broke. All these guys out here saying, "Oh yeah, I don't mind my record being broken." They are liars. Have a great year (Saquon) but, don't break my record. He's not going to break the one that really counts which is the 1800 yards. The yards from scrimmage? That's cool."
