How about that Beaver ground game! Saturday's scrimmage saw three different running backs score touchdowns. The first offensive drive of the scrimmage was a nice combination of run and pass. Quarterback Jake Luton and Noah Togiai teamed up for two receptions totaling 33 yards. Artavis Pierce then showed a nifty move and scampered for an eight-yard TD run. Calvin Tyler Jr. the freshman from Beaumont, Texas had an 11-yard TD run. And another freshman, Aidan Willard from my hometown of Napa,California when he led the offense for the third TD of the afternoon. Jordan Choukair connected on three field goals of 20, 27 and 48 yards.
