Oregon State's football team is looking for two things in the final three games of the 2017 season. A conference victory and an end to the long road victory drought. The contest Saturday means a visit to Tucson and a matchup against the nation's most dangerous runner and passer. Khalil Tate has been unreal and the big question; How can Oregon State's short-handed defense slow him down?
Interim Head Coach Cory Hall talks about Tate during his weekly news conference. Last weekend against USC.....Tate's passing numbers....not his best....14-31 for just 146 yards....two touchdowns and two INTs. He ran 26 times for 161 yards and a score.
I believe the Beavs need to make Tate beat them with his arm. They don't want him getting into the secondary carrying the football.
The game is a late one. 8:15 Arizona time. But since the Grand Canyon state doesn't turn back the clocks its a 7:15 kickoff Pacific time. The Beaver tailgate show with Travis Demers and Chad Doing begins at 3:pm with network coverage starting at 5.
The start time for the Beavers final home game has been set....NOON!!! Nice to have a day game in November!!
