The Oregon State Beavers are back on the practice floor this week following the Holiday break. For Wayne Tinkle's team the game against Central Connecticut State looms larger than it probably should but after losing to Kent State 66-63 before the break they need a big win heading into Pac-12 play on January 5th at Oregon. I have included the video of last year's Pac-12 opener against the Ducks. This was an exciting 76-64 win at Gill. The 11th-ranked OSU Women's team hosts Cal-State Bakersfield at 1:pm. It is their final non-conference tuneup before Pac-12 play begins on January 4th against Washington State at Gill. Here is the Men's release:

- Be the fourth time in five years under Wayne Tinkle the Beavers have eight or more wins through their first 12 games of the season (9-3 in 2014-15; 10-2 in 2015-16; 8-4 in 2017-18; 8-4 in 2018-19).
- Be the ninth time in the last 10 years the Beavers won their final non-conference game heading into Pac-12 play.
2019 Recruiting Class: The 2019 class includes Julien Franklin, a 6-foot-7, 190-pound shooting guard from Villa Park, Calif., Gianni Hunt, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound point guard from Torrance, Calif., and Jarod Lucas, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from Hacienda Heights, Calif.
