The Oregon State men's basketball team earned its third win of the 2021-22 campaign with a 88-76 victory over the Utah Utes Thursday night at Gill Coliseum.

Jarod Lucas led the way for the Beavers with 25 points, six rebounds, and four assists, while Warith Alatishe added in 16 points and five rebounds. Dashawn Davis (13), Roman Silva (12), & Dexter Akanno (10) also reached double-figures in scoring.

"Really proud of the guys," head coach Wayne Tinkle said. "These guys are battling, and we all know it's been a struggle early with some of the losses and setbacks we've faced. To our guys' credit, they keep battling and this was a big win for us."

As a team, OSU shot 56% from the floor and 50% from beyond-the-arc, while holding the Utes to 43% from the field and 44% from three-point range. The Beavers also forced Utah into 20 turnovers, which led to 23 points off turnovers for OSU.

"The last two games, guys have been shooting the ball with a lot of confidence," Lucas said. "That's been really, really important for us, and playing with our swagger because we know how good we are and how good we can be."

The Beavers are back in action on Monday, Jan. 3rd as they host Sacramento State at Gill Coliseum at 3 p.m.
