----- Damian Lillard scored 31 points as the Portland Trail Blazers won their sixth-straight game at home with a 117-108 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
Damian Lillard was hotter than a pistol on Saturday night. Lillard hit his first nine shots from the field including seven three-pointers as the Portland Trail Blazers ripped the Dallas Mavericks 117-108 at Moda Center.
Portland led most of the way by taking charge in the first half with 62 points on 57% shooting.
Portland (25-21) got 31 points and nine assists from Lillard and 26 points from CJ McCollum. The Blazers tied a season-high 18 three-pointers while shooting 52.3% from the field. All five Blazers' starters scored in double-figures. Evan Turner scored 17 points and Jusuf Nurkic added 10 points and six rebounds.
Wesley Matthews led Dallas (15-31) with 23 points and five rebounds and Dirk Nowitzki added 21 points.
Next up- The Trail Blazers will travel to Denver to meet the Nuggets on Monday night at Pepsi Center. This will be the first trip back to Pepsi Center for Nurkic since coming over to Portland in a trade last season. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
