Raptors Spoil Lillard's Night

----- DeMar DeRozan scores 35 points as the Toronto Raptors hammer the Portland Trail Blazers 130-105 Friday night at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON.

The Portland Trail Blazers lacked urgency and energy on Friday night and it cost them dearly as the Toronto Raptors used a 37-18 advantage in the first quarter to runaway with a 130-105 win.

Toronto (35-16) shredded the Blazers defense by connecting on 19 of their 40 shots from three-point range. When the Raptors weren't hitting threes, they were attacking the glass as they pulled down 17 offensive rebounds on the night. DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 35 points on 11-for-22 shooting and matched a career-high with six three-pointers.

The only good news for Portland (29-23) was the milestone Damian Lillard reached on the night. Lillard scored 32 points, becoming the fastest player in franchise history to reach 10,000 for his career.

Next up- The Blazers will travel to Boston to meet the Celtics on Sunday morning. The game is scheduled to tip off at 9:00 AM. Join me for Blazers Warm up at 7:00 AM on Rip City Radio 620.

Chad's take- I blame this one on round bacon.
