----- The Detroit Pistons win every quarter as they deliver a third-straight loss to the Blazers with a 111-91 win Monday night in Detroit, MI.
The up and down season continued for the Trail Blazers on Monday night as the Detroit Pistons handed the Blazers their third-straight loss with a convincing 111-91 win Monday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI. The Blazers three-game slide follows a season-long four-game winning streak.
Detroit (26-26) used their powerful tandem of Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin to attack the Blazers. Griffin finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists while Drummond added a double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. The Pistons used terrific passing to attack the Blazers defense finishing with 36 assists on 44 made field goals.
Damian Lillard led Portland (29-25) with 20 points, but he had little support as the team connected on just 39.4% of their field goals.
Next up- The Trail Blazers will return home to meet the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
Chad's take- The Blazers need an NBA trade deadline miracle.
