The Portland Trail Blazers continued sensational play on Tuesday night with their eighth-straight win, a 111-87 blowout win over the New York Knicks Tuesday night at Moda Center. With the win, the Blazers maintained their one game lead over the New Orleans Pelicans for third place in the Western Conference playoff standings.
Damian Lillard led Portland (39-26) with 37 points in 31 minutes connecting on 8-of-11 from three-point range. The Blazers connected 20 of their 33 three-point shots in the game. The Blazers led by just five points at halftime, but opened the game up with a 30-19 edge in the third quarter.
CJ McCollum scored 19 points and Shabazz Napier added 12 points off the bench. The Blazers are now 13-1 in their last 14 games at Moda Center.
NEXT UP- The Blazers will host the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
