Shaedon Sharpe led Portland (9-19) with 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting.
The key moment of the game came in late in the second quarter when the Spurs closed the first half on a 19-5 run taking a 60-44 lead into the locker room.
Portland cut the deficit to 12-points at 66-54 with an 8-2 run but never mounted a serious threat in the second half.
Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant combined for 23 points on 9-of-34 shooting.
