Blazers Vs. Warriors: 2019 Western Conference Finals preview

Today is a Trail Blazers Tuesday, and today is the day some Blazers fans have been waiting for about 20 years now. The Portland Trail Blazers are heading into Oakland for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals to face the Golden State Warriors TONIGHT in a series most of us didn’t see coming.

Who would have thought we would be in this position where the Blazers (without Nurkic) would make it this far? I’ll speak for most fans and say that none of us thought this would be happening and yet here we are, potentially only 4 games away from a shot at an NBA championship.

The Warriors are without their main man, Kevin Durant, for at least Game 1 and Potentially Game 2 of this series. The Blazers could and should have an opportunity to steal a game at Oracle arena without the Warriors trusty "Hampton five" lineup, if they catch them sleeping for a quarter. An exciting time and an exciting series for the Portland Trail Blazers, and their fans, who have stuck around with this team even after the events of what happened to Jusuf Nurkic. Whatever the outcome may be, at the end of the day, it is STILL go Blazers!

Dan and Nigel also discuss on the show the NBA draft lottery happening later today, and if and when DeMarcus could be making his way back on the Warriors roster in this series.

For guests, we have Trail Blazers Chief Marketing Officers Dewayne Hankins and Radio Host for 95.7 FM The Game Matt Steinmetz help preview this series against the Warriors
