Blame Daryl Morey For Houston Rockets' Struggles This Season

The Houston Rockets have sunk to a new low in an NBA that feels a bit bizarre when a team like the LA Clippers, that has been stripped of all of its 'superstars,' sits at the top of what's normally considered the better conference. The Rockets have a record of 9-11 after taking a loss from the Dallas Maververics and sit uncomfortably in the second to last position in the latest Western Conference standings this season. Rockets were already considered in a slipping pattern when Luc Richard Mbah a Moute left the team along with Trevor Ariza. Place on top that the Golden State Warriors picked up DeMarcus Cousins, and you begin to wonder if the Rockets will be just another victim in the post-season rather than a contender.

Ben Maller points his fingers directly at the GM who not only allowed the Rockets' defense to slip by letting Mbah a Moute and Ariza go but also didn't find quality replacements.
