Heat Cool The Blazers

----- Goran Dragic scores 28 points as the Miami Heat top the Trail Blazers 120-111 Saturday night at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

The Miami Heat built a 19-point first half lead and then withstood a furious comeback by the Trail Blazers to get a 120-111 win.

Miami (3-2) got 28 points from Goran Dragic and 19 points off the bench from Dwayne Wade to help lead the Heat to the win. Miami had an edge in the paint (48-32) and in fast break points (15-4).

Portland (3-2) played an awful first half connecting on just 37.8% from the field including just 15.4% from three-point range. The Blazers connected on 10-of-20 from downtown in the second half to take a brief lead in the fourth quarter, but Miami responded with a 17-5 run to closeout the game.

Damian Lillard followed up his 41-point effort on Thursday at Orlando with 42 points on the night. Lillard made 5-of-11 from three-point range, pulled down seven rebounds, and dished out six assists.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Indiana to meet the Pacers on Monday. Game is scheduled to tip off at 4:00 PM.

Chad's Take- Just 14 assists on the night for Portland. Lillard and McCollum need to do a better job of moving the basketball.
