The Bosnian Beast owns Sacramento!

Jusuf Nurkic turned in one of the best performances of his career scoring 24 points and adding 23 rebounds, seven assists, five blocks, and five steals as the Portland Trail Blazers top the Sacramento Kings 113-108 in overtime Tuesday night at the Golden 1 Center.

''Nurk's been on a role,'' Blazers coach Terry Stotts said. ''Tonight may be probably the best game he's played as a Blazer. He did a little bit of everything.''

Nurkic kept the Blazers afloat throughout the game as Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum struggled to find the range.  The two combined for 41 points on just 16-for-40 shooting. The Blazers connected on just 43.3% of their shots from the field including 9-for-32 from three-point range.

The Blazers had to grind to overcome a number of unforced errors on the night as they committed 19 turnovers leading to 27 points for the Kings.

The Blazers made up the difference with their aggressiveness which led to opportunities at the foul line. The Blazers made 26-of-30 from the charity stripe with Nurkic making a career-high 14 free throws. Portland was plus- 17 at the foul line on the night.

The Blazers closed out regulation on a 21-7 run to force overtime outscoring the Kings 10-5 in the extra period to secure the win.

''The effort it took to come back and win in overtime, I was really impressed with our guys,'' Stotts said. ''To make a comeback like that you have to be good at both ends, and we were.''

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will return home to host the first of a back-to-back at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM.

Chad's Take- The Bosnian Beast was immense tonight. Might have been the best game of his career. #NurkicFever
