----- Nikola Jokic finished with 41 points, five rebounds, and five assists and Jamal Murray added 24 points as the Denver Nuggets topped the Portland Trail Blazers 111-106 Tuesday night at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

Nikola Jokic finished with 41 points, five rebounds, and five assists and Jamal Murray scored 24 points as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 111-106 Tuesday night at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

The Blazers trailed by 12 points in 2nd quarter but Carmelo Anthony scored 16 of his 24 in the period to help Portland tie it at the break.

Murray, held in check for the first three quarters, but finished the game on fire. He scored 19 points in the fourth including a deep three-pointer, putting Denver ahead 93-90 with with 5:59 left.

Damian Lillard cut the deficit to 93-92 with 5:39 left, but Portland would go nearly four-minutes without scoring a point and Denver put the game away with an 8-0 run.

Lillard led Portland (18-13) with 25 points and 13 assists.

The Blazers have now dropped three-straight after winning a season-high six-games in-a-row.

"It's frustrating just because we want to win games," Lillard said. "It's as high as you can get when you're having success. Sometimes you come out on the losing side. We were playing at a high level for a long stretch of games. It's not easy to sustain that level."

The Nuggets set the NBA record committing just one turnover in the game.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Los Angeles to meet the Lakers Friday night at Staples Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
