Blazers with another glimpse at the future in road victory at Washington!

Anfernee Simons finished with 31 points and 11 assists and Nassir Little scored 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting as the Portland Trail Blazers outscored the Washington Wizards 115-110 Saturday evening at Capital One Center in Washington DC.

After missing Thursday's game at Denver for personal reasons, Simons erupted in the first half scoring 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting including 7-of-10 from three-point range helping Portland build an 11-point advantage at the break.

Robert Covington finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, and four steals. He was terrific on both ends of the floor and did a great job defensively on Kyle Kuzma limiting him to 16 points on just 7-of-18 shooting.

Jusuf Nurkic took advantage of the Wizards lack of size in the paint by recording a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds on 9-of-15 shooting.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers six-game road trip continues Monday in Orlando against the Magic. The game is scheduled to tip off at 4:00 PM.

Chad's Take- Say what you want about Coach Billups, he has done an excellent job developing his young players.
