Trail Blazers Slam The Cavs

----- Enes Kanter finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds, Gary Trent Jr. scored a team-high 26 points, and Carmelo Anthony added 23 points off the bench as the Portland Trail Blazers improved to 15-10 with a 129-110 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night at Moda Center.

Playing the second of a back-to-back Friday night at Moda Center against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points and Enes Kanter finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers improved to 15-10 on the season with a 129-110 victory.

Terry Stotts had plenty of praise for Kanter following the game when asked about his instincts on the offensive glass.

"It's a special talent, he has a nose for the ball. He's got great hands. He's persistent. It's just a remarkable skill."

The Blazers opened the game on a 20-4 run and led by as many as 30 in a wire-to-wire win.

Gary Trent Jr. scored a team-high 26 points and Damian Lillard finished with 20 points and nine assists in just 29 minutes of action.

"Everything I'm doing now I've just been working on in the shadows," Trent said. "Now I'm having the opportunity to put it in play, to actually go through it, try moves and different stuff that I've been working on."

Rodney Hood left the game in the fourth quarter due to left foot soreness. There was no update given on his status following the game.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers travel to Dallas to meet the Mavericks on Sunday afternoon. The game is scheduled to tip off at 4:30 PM.
