The Trail Blazers connected on 53.5% of their field goals including 24-of-46 from three-point range.

Carmelo Anthony finished with 29 points on 6-of-10 shooting from beyond-the-arc and Damian Lillard added 23 points and 10 assists.

The balance that had been missing during the four-game skid returned for the Blazers as they played the first of three at Moda Center before the All-Star break.

Robert Covington finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and two assists. He connected on 5-of-7 from downtown.

Enes Kanter added a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds and Nassir Little added 11 points off the bench.

Portland (19-14) finished with 12 steals and forced 16 Hornets' turnovers leading to 28 points.

The Hornets jumped out to a 26-17 lead in the first quarter, led by LaMelo Ball with eight points, and pushed the lead to as many as 11.

Both teams went back and forth the rest of the half, going into the break knotted at 59.

The Blazers pulled away in the fourth quarter connecting on 9-of-14 three-pointers in the quarter.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers host the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
