----- Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 47 points on 18-of-21 shooting as the Milwaukee Bucks hammer the Portland Trail Blazers 127-109 Friday night at Moda Center.

Giannis Antetokounmpo showed why he is a two-time MVP Friday night at Moda Center leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 127-109 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Giannis finished with 47 points and 12 rebounds on 18-of-21 shooting. His only misses on the night came from beyond-the-arc. He was 18-of-18 from two-point range.

Jrue Holiday scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists and Khris Middleton added 20 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.

The Bucks shot 54.4% from the field and outscored the Blazers 58-24 in the paint.

Damian Lillard led Portland (29-19) with 32 points and CJ McCollum and Robert Covington each scored 18.

The Blazers bench went 0 for 16 from the field through the first three quarters. Anfernee Simons hit a 3-pointer early in the fourth to end the drought.

Milwaukee controlled the first half taking a 60-53 halftime lead. The Blazers opened the third quarter with five quick points from Lillard to cut the deficit to 60-58.

The Bucks responded with a 12-5 run and put the game away by closing out the quarter on an 11-1 run.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers play the second of a back-to-back tomorrow night against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
