Blazers Go Buck Hunting

----- Anfernee Simons finished with a game-high 31 points as the Portland Trail Blazers hammer the Milwaukee Bucks 122-107 Monday night at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

Someone better tell the young Blazers they are supposed to be tanking!

Anfernee Simmons scored a game-high 31 points and Josh Hart added 27 points, seven rebounds, and five assists as the Portland Trail Blazers won their third-straight game by hammering the Milwaukee Bucks 122-107 Monday night at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

Simons connected on 7-of-16 from three-point range and poured in 16 points in the second quarter when the Blazers took command of the game outscoring the Bucks 40-24 taking a 17-point halftime lead.

Hart scored 23 points Saturday in his first game with the Blazers, a 112-103 victory over the New York Knicks. He followed that up by shooting 5-of-9 from three-point range on Monday and collecting seven rebounds and five assists to go along with his points.

Jusuf Nurkic dominated the paint with 23 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists. Like we saw Saturday against the Knicks, Nurkic showed great hustle and played with energy on both ends sparking his teammates. In his last two games, Nurkic as recorded 35 points, 36 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't play for the Bucks due to a sore left ankle. Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer said before the game he believes it's a short-term issue.

The Blazers pushed their lead to 23 points in the third quarter, but the Bucks couldn't get any closer than eight points in the final period.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Memphis to meet the Grizzlies Wednesday evening. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.
