Scrappy Blazers Edge Grizzlies

Jerami Grant scored a team-high 26 points, Malcolm Brogdon finished with 24 points and 10 assists, and Shaedon Sharpe added 22 points and five rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers won their third-straight game with a 115-113 overtime victory over the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night at Moda Center in the first of their NBA in-season tournament games.

DeAndre Ayton recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds and Robert Williams added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Scoot Henderson did not play (sprained right ankle).

Memphis led 100-90 on David Roddy's dunk with 3:21 left in regulation before Portland chipped away, getting within 102-100 when Malcolm Brogdon made two free throws.

Shaedon Sharpe hit a pair of foul shots with 8.3 seconds left to tie it, then blocked Luke Kennard's attempt from the corner on the other end to send the game to overtime.

Sharpe's three-pointer gave the Blazers a 109-106 lead with 1:17 left in overtime. Grant's three with 39.1 seconds remaining made it 112-108.

Memphis (0-6) is the NBA's lone winless team.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers and Grizzlies will rematch at Moda Center on Sunday evening. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
