Nuggets Down Trail Blazers

----- Nikola Jokic recorded his 17th triple-double on the season and Michael Porter Jr. scored a game-high 34 points as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 127-112 Friday night at Moda Center in Portland.

Kris Murray got the start at guard next to Anfernee Simons with both Malcolm Brogdon and Scoot Henderson out of the lineup.

Jerami Grant led Portland (15-40) with 25 points and Deandre Ayton added 22 points and 10 rebounds. Murray finished with nine points and eight rebounds and Dalano Banton added 14 points and three assists off the bench.

Portland led by five points in the opening minutes, but Denver controlled it most of the way thanks to hot shooting. The Nuggets shot 58% from the field to the Blazers’ 45%.

Former Blazers' coach Rick Adelman was in attendance watching his son David, who is on staff with the Denver Nuggets.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers host the Charlotte Hornets Sunday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
