Paul George Leads Clippers Over Trail BLazers

------ Paul George scored a game-high 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting and James Harden added 15 points and 10 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers improved to 44-25 with a 125-117 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center in Portland.

Paul George scored a game-high 31 points and James Harden added 15 points and 10 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers topped the Portland Trail Blazers 125-117 Friday night at Moda Center.

George connected on 10-of-14 from the field and Kawhi Leonard finished with 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting.

Los Angeles (44-25) closed the first quarter on a 32-17 run taking a 42-27 lead into the second.

The Clippers pushed their lead to 62-40 with a 12-6 run to open the second. The Clippers would take a 70-53 lead into the locker room. LA shot 62% from the field in the first half including 11-of-19 from downtown.

The young Trail Blazers would make the game respectable in the fourth closing the game on a 25-7 run.

Scoot Henderson led Portland with 24 points and 10 assists and Kris Murray added 21 points and seven rebounds.

Portland committed just 10 turnovers and finished with 29 assists.

Up Next- The Portland Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back Saturday night at Moda Center against the Denver Nuggets. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
