Deandre Ayton Leads Trail Blazers Past Wizards

Dalano Banton continued his strong play with 21 points and Jabari Walker recorded a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Portland took a 59-51 lead into the locker room thanks to Ayton's 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists in the first half.

The Trail Blazers pushed their lead to 12 at 84-72, but the Wizards used an 11-2 run to cut the deficit to 86-83 early in the fourth quarter.

The Wizards then used a 14-6 run to tie the game at 97 with 4:17 remaining.

With the game tied at 102, Portland got a free throw from Jabari Walker and a layup from Kris Murray to take a three-point lead at 105-102.

Henderson iced the game with a three-point play with 15.7 seconds remaining pushing their advantage to 108-102.

Portland finished with 29 assists on 41 made field goals.
